Jane M Erickson, MA
Jane M. Erickson of Bellevue, Nebraska, serves as the 2007-08 Kiwanis International Foundation President. Jane joined the Kiwanis International Foundation Board in 2002 as a three-year-term Trustee and served as Treasurer from 2005-06.
An 18-year Kiwanian and currently a member of the Kiwanis Club of Bellevue-Offutt, Jane has served as a distinguished president of the Fort Dodge Noon, Iowa club, a distinguished lieutenant governor, and a distinguished governor in the Nebraska-Iowa District. In addition, she is an eight-year advisor for the Wake Robin K-Kids Club, a Lead Facilitator for the Key Leader program, and a frequent presenter at Builders, Key Club, Circle K, and Aktion club events. She has also chaired and served on many International Kiwanis committees and is a Diamond Hixson Fellow, a Carthage Pullman recipient, a Tablet of Honor recipient, and a Heritage Society member of the Kiwanis International Foundation.
Jane holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Wellness Program Management and a master’s degree in Leadership. She is the owner of the Wellness and Training Works and teaches strategic planning, teamwork, leadership, organizational dynamics and other organizational topics to both for- and non-profit organizations. Her professional work as well as her positions as a former Kiwanis Master Instructor and current Club Leadership Education instructor have resulted in both national and international presentations.
Jane and her husband Gus (also a past Nebraska-Iowa District governor) share a passion for helping children and have five grown children and seven grandchildren.
