Book an official Kiwanis tour.

The "Japan in-depth" tab offers great insight into Japan's cultural specificity.

Remember to apply for a passport and/or visa early, depending on which country you're from, and check with your cell phone provider about phone rates and special calling plans when using your phone abroad. Order pocket Wi-Fi.

The 99th Kiwanis International Convention will be held at the Makuhari Messe, conveniently located within 30 minutes of Tokyo and the Narita International Airport.
From the airport, take a bus to Makuhari. A one-way ticket can be purchased for 1,100 yen (see the conversion rate for your currency). The information booth inside the airport offers help in several languages. Buses stop at all major hotels. Be aware that buses from the Narita airport no longer stop at individual hotels after 11 p.m., they drop passengers off at the train station. Consult the area map inside the train station before heading to your hotel.

It is recommended you use public transportation, as taxi fares can get costly in Japan.
