Progress to eliminate a cruel disease no mother should fear

Jul 08, 2014

You’re making a difference. As of June 16, 2014, the Kiwanis family has raised more than US$54.2 million in cash and pledges for The Eliminate Project. These crucial funds will save or protect at least 30 million women and their future children from tetanus.

Our support helps UNICEF implement immunization activities in the 24 countries where tetanus still threatens families. In the next six months, UNICEF plans to reach more than 7.7 million women of childbearing age. For these women, hope comes in the form of vaccine and a needle—and The Eliminate Project is our way of making sure it reaches them.

We’re not just reaching a goal through The Eliminate Project. We’re keeping our promise to protect the connection between more than 61 million mothers and their babies. As we approach this pivotal moment, help the Kiwanis family make 2015 a year of celebration. And help fulfill our commitment to change the world forever.
