KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT

James “Jim” Rochford of Peoria, Illinois, was elected as vice president of Kiwanis International in June 2015 at the 100th Annual Kiwanis International Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

A 35-year Kiwanian with the Peoria club, Jim has served as distinguished club president, Key Club advisor, Circle K International advisor, distinguished lieutenant governor and distinguished governor. Jim has personally recruited more than 1,000 members into Kiwanis.

He is also a Diamond-level George F. Hixson Fellow, a charter Walter Zeller Fellow and a certified Kiwanis trainer.

Outside of Kiwanis, Jim was named Tri-County Citizen of the Year, JC Penney/Golden Rule Award recipient, past president of the Peoria Jaycees and founder/president of the Peoria Irish AAU Basketball program.

Jim and his wife, Debra, have two daughters and one son, as well as two grandbabies!
