KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL TRUSTEE

Elizabeth Tezza of Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina, was elected to a three-year term as a trustee of Kiwanis International in June 2012 at the 97th Annual Kiwanis International Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana.

A Kiwanian with the East Cooper-Mt. Pleasant club, Elizabeth has served as Key Club International advisor, governor, distinguished lieutenant governor, distinguished club secretary, fundraising chairman and district coordinator for The Eliminate Project.

She is also a Diamond-level George F. Hixson Fellow and a charter Walter Zeller Fellow. She is also a charter member of Women in Kiwanis.

Outside of Kiwanis, Elizabeth is the chairman of the board of zoning appeals for the Town of Sullivan’s Island, is a member of the Charleston Southern University Board of Visitors, is Clerk of the Vestry of the Church of the Holy Cross, and treasurer for Cursillo in the Diocese of South Carolina.

Elizabeth is married to Tom Simmonite and has one stepdaughter.
