Super Typhoon Haiyan swept across the central Philippines on Friday, causing catastrophic damage. As the strongest storm ever to make landfall, the super typhoon has impacted more than 4 million people. This includes some 1.7 million children living in the area.
In the aftermath of this devastation, Kiwanis International Foundation President Lance Incitti and the board have approved US$75,000 in disaster relief grants to clubs and districts in the Philippines to provide immediate support to the affected communities. Additional requests for emergency grants continue to be considered.
The foundation is now accepting donations to support disaster relief efforts. Your financial contribution can make a significant impact in areas devastated by natural disasters. Kiwanians are encouraged to donate to the disaster relief fund
