The 91st Annual Kiwanis International Convention officially begins on Wednesday, June 28, and ends on Saturday, July 1.

Wednesday includes early-bird hours for registration and the Exhibit Hall, but there is no general session.

Thursday’s schedule includes “Kiwanis Presents: Art Linkletter” and then brings the Kiwanis world together for the Opening Session, featuring Cirque Sublime, at 1:30 p.m. Later, at 8 p.m., Kiwanis presents “Live On-Stage: Spotlight on Broadway.” Check the registration form for ticket information about Linkletter’s appearance and the Broadway tribute. The day also includes the first Kiwanis Resource Exchange, which offers a variety of educational and informational forums on topics such as Kiwanis service, leadership, and membership development.

Friday begins with two informative presentations: “Spreading Contagious Enthusiasm: How One Person Can Make a Difference” by Barbara Glanz and “How to Explain Death to Children” by Dana Cable. A second round of education forums also are scheduled during the morning. The First Business Session begins at 1:30 p.m. Friday, when delegates will conduct elections.

Saturday concludes the convention with a full slate of activities. Motivationalist and magician Rick Nielsen speaks on the topic “The Magic of Caring,” and Dana Cable will address the subject of “Understanding Grief.” Another group of education forums will be followed by the Second Business Session, when delegates will consider proposed amendments and resolutions. The Closing Session, scheduled at 7 p.m., will feature inspiring entertainment by the Famous People Players.
