‘Inside the block’ benefits you
When it comes to choosing a place to stay in Montréal for the 2006 Kiwanis
International Convention, think “inside the block.”
Booking your room at a Kiwanis hotel makes it easy for you to secure
quality accommodations, increases your fellowship opportunities, secures
free meeting space for your district, and helps Kiwanis avoid penalty
costs for rooms not used.
This year, each district is assigned a primary hotel, where district
functions take place, and three nearby, overflow hotels. Rates vary slightly.
All Kiwanis hotels are conveniently located in downtown Montréal near
both convention facilities. The hotels also are close to several metro
stops, which will be used to shuttle attendees between their hotels and
convention events. Also in the vicinity are a variety of restaurants and
shops.
Keep in mind that hotel rates are shown—and will be charged—in Canadian
dollars. Check here
for current exchange rates.
Convention housing is being handled by The Meeting Connection. All Housing
Forms must be submitted to The Meeting Connection to secure housing at
a Kiwanis hotel and at Kiwanis rates. Availability at all hotels
is limited; so, early registration is encouraged. Also, state your first
and second hotel choices on the Housing Form.
