You may deserve a patch

You may deserve a patch

Did a medical expert speak to your Kiwanis club about the importance of being vaccinated against influenza?

Did your club help publicize flu clinics by distributing fliers and/or posters?

Did you and your fellow Kiwanians volunteer at a vaccination event?

Did your club host a vaccination event?

If your club can answer yes to any of these four questions, it has earned a THRIVE banner patch. Simply fill out the participation form, and notify your club’s banner keeper to warm up the sewing machine.

THRIVE—Tackling the Health and Risk of Influenza with Vaccination and Education—is a three-pronged Kiwanis initiative designed to promote the facts and importance of flu vaccinations.

In addition to acknowledging your club’s effort, the banner patch award form assists Kiwanis International in evaluating the effectiveness of the THRIVE program.
