New periodical surfs Kiwanis into future
More and more Kiwanians are logging on to the Internet for their news
and entertainment. So, shouldn’t they be able to go online for their Kiwanis
news as well? Of course, and this inaugural issue of Kiwanis Connected
makes that idea a reality, keeping Kiwanis International up-to-date in
the world of communication.
But Kiwanis Connected is more than just another communication mode between
Kiwanis International and its members: Unlike hard copy resources, the
Internet format allows for quick feedback and an interactive experience
through quizzes, surveys, and links.

Make sure your fellow club members receive Kiwanis Connected too!
On the e-mail notification you received, click the “Forward to a
Friend” button at the bottom of the page, and encourage them to
subscribe. There is no subscription fee. Also, clubs should ensure
their rosters have up-to-date e-mail addresses. And when new members
join your club, process the New-Member-Add Forms promptly so they
can begin receiving Kiwanis Connected, Kiwanis magazine, and other
benefits/services. |
Plans are for Kiwanis Connected to be delivered to Kiwanians every other
month (January, March, May, July, September, and November). For a member
to receive this electronic publication, Kiwanis International must have
the member’s current, correct e-mail address. Members are encouraged to
share Kiwanis Connected with fellow Kiwanians and friends by clicking
the “share with a friend” option appearing in each issue’s delivery notice.
As Kiwanis Connected evolves, readers are urged to offer their reactions
and suggestions through a survey.
