Put world news in your headlines

Members and friends of the Homewood-Mountain Brook, Alabama, Kiwanis club keep abreast of Kiwanis’ international news. Soon after a tsunami swept its destructive tidal waves across the Indian Ocean, the club’s Web site reported that Malaysian Kiwanians were shipping relief supplies to Sri Lanka and that a Pennsylvania club gave US$50,000 to the Kiwanis International Foundation Disaster Relief Fund.

The Alabama Kiwanians do not have a global press corps to gather and write Kiwanis’ international news. Rather, the club relies on Kiwanis International’s Headline Sharing Service, Version 1.0. With just a small amount of HTML coding, the Homewood-Mountain Brook Web site carries the same daily headlines that appear on the Kiwanis International home page.

Learn how your club can put Kiwanis’ international headlines on your Web site, with the Kiwanis Headline Sharing Service.
