Ambassadors take Aktion in community

As you may know, annual Aktion Club contest entries are due April 1. New this year, however: Winners of each district’s speech contest will be named Aktion Club Ambassadors.

As such, the ambassadors may be called upon to speak in their districts and generally represent and promote Aktion Club at Kiwanis and community events.

Here’s how the Ambassador Program will work: The sponsoring Kiwanis club advisor will act as the main contact for the Aktion Club ambassador. When a speaker is needed, the Kiwanis sponsor will receive a call or e-mail and make the necessary arrangements.

All Aktion Club members are encouraged to compete in the speech contest. Specific rules and regulations are available in the Aktion Club contest booklet.
