Kiwanis message: One can make a difference

One can make a difference.
One community.
One organization.
One project.
One volunteer.
One child.

Kiwanis International makes a difference worldwide because we never underestimate the power of one.

If ever there was a doubt, there shouldn’t be. One Can Make a Difference.

This message, which is the anchoring statement of a new emotionally charged Kiwanis marketing campaign, communicates how Kiwanis enables members and clubs to make a difference in their communities and in the world.

Kiwanis International is distributing media toolkits to English-speaking clubs in North American this month. In addition to public relations and marketing handbooks, the kits contain a copy of the Kiwanis in Service: From One to One Hundred service idea booklet, a “Who is Kiwanis” pocket brochure, promotional DVD videos, and more.

According to the “One Can Make A Difference” campaign, no effort is too small, no request is too big, and no child should be allowed to suffer. The message is powerful and is meant to tell the world just what Kiwanis is all about.

“We believe this campaign will allow clubs to communicate the Kiwanis mission in a memorable and compelling fashion to a larger and more diverse audience and, ultimately, gain and retain members,” says Jennefer Pursifull, Kiwanis International director of marketing communications.

The new campaign is not reserved to only these pieces of literature. The International Office is producing television ads and print ads that will be available to clubs.
