Get jazzed about Montréal
If you’re a Kiwanian who likes hot rhythms and cool jazz tones, you’re

Montréal
is a beautiful blend, where Europe meets North America, old meets
new, and refinement meets passion—all in the same island city that
promises a little of something for everyone.
A few “must-sees” for Kiwanians and their guests traveling to Montréal

The 11-day jazz fest features some of the best in the biz. The 2005 event,
for example, showcased more than 150 concerts in 15 series set. And you
don’t need to be a jazz aficionado to recognize some of the top acts from
this past year, among them: Madeleine Peyroux, Michael Bublé, Boby McFerrin,
Béla Fleck, the Neville Brothers, Mark Knopfler, and Paul Anka (to name
just a few).
Also convenient, some of the main jazz fest venues are within a few blocks
of Palais des Congrès de Montréal (Montréal’s convention center). Click
here for updates on 2006 jazz festival artists, venues, and
information on tickets and free events.
