Take sneak peek at 2007 forums, workshops
Kiwanians who attend the 2007 Kiwanis International Convention in San Antonio, Texas, will find an array of fun and practical forums focusing on a variety of topics and aimed at helping attendees retool for the future.
Catch the shutter ‘bug’
Kiwanis convention forums always infect attendees with knowledge, materials, inspiration, and other communicable lessons that should be spread among fellow club members back home. In San Antonio, Texas, at the 92nd Annual International Convention, for example, one workshop promises to transmit a penchant for photography.
“Photography: Taking Photos that Pack a Punch!” will offer tips and publishing advice, after which presenter Lynn Seeden—a professional journalist and Fountain Valley, California, Kiwanian—will dispatch attendees on a convention photographic assignment. So bring your own camera. |
In addition, a K University session is planned for the convention’s kickoff, July 3.
