Earn your K degree at convention
K University offers a new date and city especially convenient to Kiwanians who plan to attend the 2007 Kiwanis International Convention: Tuesday, July 3 in San Antonio, Texas. That’s right, a K University session will be available on site during the beginning of the 92nd Annual Kiwanis International Convention.
If you’re going to the International convention, plan to experience firsthand why K University’s “traveling road show” is leaving a trail of motivation, education, a vision for Kiwanis’ future, and enhanced communication as it crisscrosses North America and expands to other parts of the world.
“The International convention is the perfect setting for a K University,” says Immediate Past International President Steve Siemens, who leads the sessions along with other professional speakers and key members of International Office staff. “Because Kiwanians travel from all over the world to attend the convention, we expect a mix of backgrounds and cultures that will lead to invaluable forward-thinking discussions and expose an even greater number of Kiwanians to K University’s contagious enthusiasm.
“This is especially exciting, because those who attend the convention’s K University will spread that enthusiasm to other conventioning Kiwanians.”
All Kiwanians are invited to attend K University sessions. The registration fee is US$50 and includes lunch, workshop materials, a diploma, and a K University souvenir. Group rates are available.
Registration for the convention K University will be available on the convention registration form, which will appear in the February 2007 issue of KIWANIS magazine and on the convention Web site.
