Clubs seeking assistance for membership recruitment, retention, and general publicity efforts will find a wealth of help when they contact a TAG Team member.

Members in each district have been specially trained as part of Kiwanis’ TAG (Together Achieving Growth) Team. These Kiwanians are available to assist struggling clubs and healthy clubs.

“We provide extra support for new-club building, membership growth, and club publicity. Sometimes it’s a matter of helping a club assess what it wants and needs to accomplish and then giving some suggestions,” says New Jersey TAG Team member Brian Sieglewax. “But the first step is that a club needs to decide it needs some assistance.”

TAG Team help is most successful when the club is ready to accept the member’s assistance, is open to his or her ideas and suggestions, and is willing to dig in and work. Though the TAG Team member gives guidance, the club does the actual work—be that recruiting, establishing retention programs, or trying a publicity technique.

To learn more about the TAG Team or locate a TAG Team member in your area, contact your district governor or the Growth Department at the International Office.
