Fee waiver to help rebuild disaster-struck clubs

Kiwanis clubs in the Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee District were devastated by the 2005 hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Not only did members lose homes and property, but clubs lost members, who were displaced by the storms and moved to other communities. To help rebuild Kiwanis in the area, the Kiwanis International Board has temporarily waived the new-member fee for the hurricane-effected areas of the district.
