Award-worthy supporters need apply
Children’s Miracle Network may want to honor you.
The alliance of children’s hospitals has announced the initiation of its Sponsor Volunteer Awards, which will recognize individuals and organizations whose fundraising methods are “unique, extraordinary, or above the crowd.”
One person from each sponsoring association, such as Kiwanis, will be recognized and featured in the network’s annual Sponsor Volunteer Awards “Recipe for Success” best practices book. Five finalists, selected from among all associations, will be invited to the Children’s Miracle Network Celebration in Orlando, Florida, April 2-4, 2007 and recognized during an awards luncheon.
Children’s Miracle Network is a member of the Kiwanis Priority One Advisory Council, and according to 2004-05 Annual Club Report findings, more than 45 percent of North American clubs raise funds to support children’s hospitals in their communities.
Nominations for the volunteer award are due by January 1, 2007. Click here to download the nomination form. |
