Chuck Fletcher

Chuck Fletcher of Frankfort, Kentucky, USA, was elected to a three-year term as trustee of Kiwanis International. He was elected during a Kiwanis International Council meeting held in lieu of the annual Kiwanis International Convention in 2019 and will serve as a trustee for the United States and Pacific Canada regions of Kiwanis.

A member of Kiwanis for 15 years, Chuck has served as club vice president and president of the Kiwanis Club of Frankfort. He has also served as lieutenant governor and governor (2015-2016) of the Kentucky-Tennessee District of Kiwanis. During his time as governor, Chuck served with distinction and helped open new clubs during the 2015-16 Kiwanis year.

Within Kiwanis, he has received numerous awards and honors, including the George F. Hixson Fellowship and Walter Zeller Fellowship. He has served as a club builder, club counselor and is a supporter of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund.

Chuck is excited to work with people to make a difference and plans to work with Kiwanis International Board members and staff to make Kiwanis strong all over the world.

Outside of Kiwanis, Chuck is a member of the Franklin County School Board and vice-chair of the Frankfort Regional Medical Center Board. He is also active in the Capital City Retired Teachers’ Association serving as president (2019-20) and is a member of the Kentucky School Boards Association and the Kentucky Association of School Administrators. In addition, he is a former Frankfort city commissioner.

Chuck holds a master’s degree in education and has one child and four grandchildren.
