Hurrelbrink, Dave

David W. Hurrelbrink, Kansas City, Kansas, United States, was elected to a three-year term as trustee of Kiwanis International in June 2019 at the 104th Annual Kiwanis International Convention in Florida. He has been a member of Kiwanis for 29 years.

Dave is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Kansas City West, the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa 2.0 and the Centennial Internet Club. He is a former club president.

Dave is a former governor, lieutenant governor and co-chair of a large district fundraiser. He is a George F. Hixson, Walter Zeller Fellow, and Tablet of Honor recipient among other awards.

Dave is current chair of the Wyandotte County Park Foundation; a past chair and member of the Unified Government Planning and Zoning Commission and a past member of the Wyandotte County Park Board.

A semi-retired business owner, David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from Kansas State University.

His wife, Pat, is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Kansas City West, where she has served as president and is the current secretary. She is a past lieutenant governor. They have two children and four grandchildren.
