Wilfredo Aguilar

Wilfredo G. “Willy” Aguilar of Koronadal City, South Cotabato, Philippines, was elected to the Kiwanis International Board of Trustees during the Asia-Pacific District Convention held in Nepal in March. He represents the Asia-Pacific region of Kiwanis International.

Willy has been a member of Kiwanis for 30 years. He is a current member of the Kiwanis Club of Marbel in the Philippine South District and has served as club president and district governor. While governor, he organized 11 Builders Clubs and eight Kiwanis clubs. Wilfredo is a George S. Hixson Fellow.

As an experienced club builder, Wilfredo focuses on membership and growth to support Kiwanis International worldwide service.

Willy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. As a civil engineer, he worked for the government for 41 years. He is also a member of the District Engineers League of the Philippines and of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers. He is also on the ASEAN Engineering register. 

Willy and his wife, Lourdes, who is a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Crown City, have three children and one grandchild. Wilfredo’s hobbies include biking.
