Amy Zimmerman of Beavercreek, Ohio, USA, was appointed as president-elect of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund after serving as treasurer for one year along with a three-year term as trustee that began on October 1, 2018. A member of the Cincinnati and Beavercreek Kiwanis clubs, Zimmerman served as the Ohio District Governor in 2015-16 and has served on International committees for Kiwanis.

In addition to her work with Kiwanis, Amy has been a supporter and life member of Ambucs, which provides Amtrykes to more than 150 children and veterans through a partnership with Ohio Kiwanis.

“I learned so much about giving back to my local community and the children of the world, leadership, team-building and collaboration through our Service Leadership Programs (Key Club and Circle K International)," Zimmerman said. "I want to pay it forward so that our youth will enjoy similar opportunities to learn skills that will help them in life.,”

As a supporter of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, Zimmerman is a George F. Hixson Fellow, Charter Walter Zeller Fellow and Dr. Wil Blechman Fellow. She has also received the Kiwanis International Centennial Award.

Zimmerman works at Rockwell Automation as the global program manager for the Procter & Gamble account. She has been recognized as a “Forty under 40” by the Cincinnati Business Courier. In her personal time, Amy enjoys playing volleyball and golf, traveling, photography, spending time with family and serving her community.
