Kiwanis Day of Giving
Join us for a day that could change the lives of kids around the world! On April 7, 2023, we’re conducting our first Kiwanis Day of Giving. That’s the Kiwanis Children’s Fund’s 84th birthday, and we’re celebrating by raising US$45,000 — enough to reach up to 20,000 children.
Gather online with other Kiwanians the week of April 3-7 and share stories about impacting children’s lives in your community. You’ll also learn the reasons we all support the Kiwanis causes: health and nutrition, education and literacy, and youth leadership development.
How can you participate?
- Set up a Facebook Fundraiser on behalf of the Kiwanis Children’s Fund. It is easy and only takes about 5 minutes to create. Learn how to set up a Facebook Fundraiser (select Kiwanis Children’s Fund as your nonprofit).
- Share this page with your network of Kiwanians, friends and family.
- Start things off by making your own gift to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund.
- Encourage others to give on April 7 by matching your gift or making a gift of personal significance to them. Include a link to the donation page. Individual and club gifts on April 7 will count towards the final goal.
- Like, share and comment on Kiwanis International’s Facebook posts during the week of April 3-7. Your interaction will help remind and encourage the people you’ve shared your page with — because Kiwanis will post updates about our fundraising progress along with inspiring stories of Kiwanians’ impact on kids around the world. Use the hashtag #KiwanisDayofGiving in your posts.

- Like our Facebook event and invite others to participate with you. Your interaction will help remind and encourage the people you’ve shared your page with — because Kiwanis will post updates about our fundraising progress along with inspiring stories of Kiwanians’ impact on kids around the world.
- Share our Save the Date images on your social media. When you do, use #KiwanisDayofGiving to promote Kiwanis on your network. You can use any of our Save the Date images.
- Spread the word at upcoming Kiwanis club meetings or events.
