Celebrate the best of the best Kiwanis signature projects. The top 10 finalists in each group will be recognized — and then the gold, silver and bronze awards will be announced.  

2023 KIWANIS CONVENTION KICKOFF

9:30-11:30 a.m. 
Kick off your 2023 Kiwanis International Convention experience with the pageantry, recognition and celebration of Kiwanis. The opening session features Clint Pulver. The Emmy Award-winning presenter will help clubs navigate generational complexities, communication challenges and leadership missteps to better serve children. ♦

BUILD A LITTLE FREE LIBRARY

11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Sign up for one of 25 spots on this day to help build Little Free Libraries as a gift to communities in the Minnesota-Dakotas District for hosting the 2023 Kiwanis International Convention. FELLOWSHIP LUNCH

KIWANIS JAMBOREE

7:30 p.m.
Hang out with old friends. Meet new ones. Spend some time mingling with Kiwanis and CKI members as a country band with Kiwanis and Key Club connections sets the mood for this jamboree. Snacks and lemonade will be served. A cash bar will be available.

KIWANIS LAUNCHPAD: NOURISHING RELATIONSHIPS

You earn trust, respect and compassion by establishing relationships with those you serve, mentor and support. But it's not always easy to create those bonds — especially when generational gaps exist. This Kiwanis Launchpad will equip you with the mindset and attitude to approach mentoring as a vital part of your club's existence. ♦

FOSTERING IMPACT KEYNOTE SESSION

“If you have a skill and you have a will,” Andrew Zimmern says, “you can make a difference in the lives of people everywhere.” The host and creator of the Travel Channel's “Bizarre Foods” franchise has lived a life full of highs and lows. Now he's using his fame and status as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme to show how it's possible to impact the lives of others one meal at a time. ♦

SATURDAY, JUNE 24, 2023

 

2023 KIWANIS ANNUAL MEETING

9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Get informed about the business of Kiwanis International — and add your voice to our future. Executive Director Stan Soderstrom will address the state of Kiwanis International. Delegates from clubs around the world will then elect the organization’s next leaders and vote on changes to the Kiwanis International Bylaws. A lunch recess will be taken. A meal will be provided for those who select the 3-Day and Annual Meeting Only registration packages.

*The Kiwanis Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 24, 2023, will be streamed live online and can be viewed for free. Watch kiwanis.org for streaming information. Kiwanis International Bylaws only allow for in-person voting. 

KIWANIS CHILDREN'S FUND LUNCHEON AND ANNUAL MEETING

11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Upgrade your lunch experience and celebrate the impact Kiwanis has on children around the world. Special Kiwanians will be honored for their support and dedication.

KIWANIS COUNTRY NIGHT STARRING THE OAK RIDGE BOYS

7 p.m.

Enjoy a three-course dinner followed by a private concert with the Oak Ridge Boys. This legendary Country Hall of Fame quartet will play their hits, so you can tap your toes or do a two-step on the dance floor.
