Education Block 1
Club Stories: Appealing To A Younger Generation
Attracting new generations of servant leaders to your club is essential for its growth and sustainability. Young Kiwanians will share why they joined and what keeps them coming back — tips you can use to increase your club’s appeal across age groups.
Staying Safe In Cyberspace
Clubs need to understand cybersecurity to keep members’ data safe. Learn how to combat cyberthreats and identify red flags in communications. Know the difference between phishing, smishing and vishing. Gain insights on effective response strategies and tools to safeguard your club’s information — and your own — in the digital world.
Club Stories: Bringing The Kiwanis Family Together
When the Kiwanis family works together, great things happen. Hear from Kiwanis clubs that have built strong connections with their sponsored Service Leadership Programs and gain insight into how your club can do the same.
The Possibility Project
The Kiwanis Children’s Fund is working with Kiwanians worldwide to raise US$25 million over the next five years. The Possibility Project is the first fundraising campaign that solely supports Kiwanis clubs and the children we serve. Learn more about how the campaign will positively impact 10 million children globally, how you can play a part and how to make your club an Impact Club. (This workshop is also available on Friday.)
Telling Your Kiwanis Story
Social media is a great way to keep your club members updated and connected beyond meetings and events — but its potential goes much further. Unlock the secrets to telling your club’s story and enhancing your membership growth through social media.
Build: Existing Clubs
The number of clubs with membership numbers in the single digits is staggering. Even more shocking: the number of those clubs that intend to turn in their charters after celebrating their centennial. Explore how we can embrace the rich service histories of these clubs by rebuilding them and relaunching the projects that their communities once knew and loved.
Build: New Clubs
Does your club have a nearby community that needs Kiwanis? What should you look for in a viable club site? Have you ever thought about opening a club as a service project? Why does everyone believe sponsoring a new Kiwanis club is expensive and difficult? Get the answers to these questions and more during this workshop.

Kiwanis Launchpad: Forging The Future
Fred Rogers, host of the beloved children’s television show “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” believed in six fundamentals of learning: a sense of self-worth, a sense of trust, curiosity, the capacity to look and listen carefully, the capacity to play, and times of solitude. In this Launchpad, an expert from the Fred Rogers Institute will show us how Kiwanians can use these six principles to help children learn and grow. (Kiwanis Launchpads are short, high-impact and sure to leave you filled with ideas to implement at home.)
Education Block 3
Club Stories: Membership Growth
More kids need Kiwanis every day, so it’s critical that we have more Kiwanians to help meet those needs. Clubs that have been successful at membership growth will share their strategies and provide tips to help your club implement their tactics.
Club Stories: Service Project Success — Large Club Edition
One of the most frequent requests from Kiwanis clubs is for advice on how to energize a longtime service project or launch an effective new one. The larger the club, the more extensive the projects can be. Learn how clubs with over 40 members have implemented innovative service projects and how your club can successfully adapt them.
Making The Most Of Kiwanis Engage
The new Kiwanis membership platform, Kiwanis Engage, gives members, clubs and districts expanded capabilities and enhanced insights. Discover the added value this platform brings to your membership and how to use it to optimize your Kiwanis experience. (This workshop is also available in Education Block 4.)

My Generation
Have you ever wondered what a club member who’s younger or older than you really thinks about their Kiwanis experience? Here’s your chance to find out. Our multigenerational panel members will share their individual Kiwanis stories and offer insights on how to make your club meaningful — and enjoyable — for all age groups.
Six Fundamentals Of Learning And Growing
This workshop expands on the overview provided in Kiwanis Launchpad: Forging the Future by our guest expert from the Fred Rogers Institute. The late Fred Rogers, the beloved host of “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” believed in “six basic necessities of learning.” These fundamentals include a sense of self-worth, a sense of trust, curiosity, the capacity to look and listen carefully, the capacity to play, and times of solitude. Take a deep dive into the six principles and how you can implement them in your club’s service projects and Student Leadership Programs.
Build And Nurture And Retain — The Power Of “And”
Too often we look at opportunities as a selection process. Which one should we be taking advantage of? Which one will help us the most or which one won’t come again. When really, we need to change our vantage point. In other words, what if we embraced the AND? What if we start a new event that is fundraising AND service? What if our newest initiative is about recruitment AND retention? Let’s embrace the power of AND!
Education Block 4
Club Stories: Service Project Success — Small Club Edition
One of the most frequent requests from Kiwanis clubs is advice on how to energize a longtime service project or launch an effective new one. For smaller clubs, fewer members means fewer hands to help. Learn how clubs with 40 members or fewer have implemented innovative service projects and how your club can adapt them.
Club Stories: Fundraising Success — Large Club Edition
Fundraisers help sustain and grow your club and enable you to make a positive impact on even more kids. Larger clubs can launch more ambitious events for a more substantial financial gain. Get inspired by successful fundraising efforts from clubs with 40 or more members — and discover how to make them work for your club.
(Repeat of earlier session.)
The Goal Workshop: Your Path To Success
Transform your club’s biggest aspiration from wishful thinking into an attainable goal. Come prepared with something your club wants to accomplish (a service project, a membership growth target, a new Service Leadership Program — whatever you want to achieve). We’ll walk you through the steps to success.
Retain: Membership Growth
Are you a leader in your club? This workshop is for you. Dive into the tools that club leaders can use to grow their clubs as part of the new Build. Nurture. Retain. framework.
Nurture: How To Engage Your Division In A New Club’s Success
Learn how your division — not just the sponsoring club and club coaches — can support a new club. We’ll give you the information you need to effectively stage a division-wide membership boost and/or service project. (This workshop is recommended for current and incoming lieutenant governors — but everyone is welcome to attend.)
Education Block 5
Club Stories: Club Revitalization
How can Kiwanis clubs revitalize themselves when membership stagnates and interest runs low? Kiwanians share their success stories in rejuvenating their clubs and give you tips for adapting their methods to refresh and recharge your own.
Focus On Youth Protection
Nothing is more important than the safety of the children and young people we serve. Learn the latest updates on youth protection, the important role you and your club play and how to safeguard our programs to protect your club and your community.
Club Stories: Fundraising Success — Small Club Edition
Fundraisers are especially critical for sustaining small clubs and ensuring they can continue to serve kids. But with fewer members, it’s crucial to make the most of available resources — human and otherwise. Get inspired by successful fundraising efforts from clubs with fewer than 40 members and discover how your club can customize those ideas.
Meetup For Membership
A new way of growing clubs and opening new ones is taking Europe by storm! See how your club can use the MeetUp tactic to increase membership in a fun and innovative way.
Retain: The Importance Of Attitude
Do our attitudes alter clubs’ growth and success? We’ll look at the correlation between behaviors and thriving clubs. This workshop will highlight specifics for lieutenant governors, club coaches, sponsoring Kiwanis clubs, anyone engaged in fostering new clubs and clubs struggling in their communities.
Nurture: It’s Everyone’s Job
This session for lieutenant governors will focus on how to nurture both new and existing clubs. It’s a key part of your role in the new Build. Nurture. Retain. growth framework.
