HISTORIC KIWANIS MOMENT HAPPENING JULY 25

Be a witness to history when the Kiwanis International Council meets to conduct the necessary business of the organization due to the cancellation of the 2020 Kiwanis International Convention. Kiwanis International Executive Director Stan Soderstrom will present a State of Kiwanis report, including details on how the global pandemic is affecting community service, operations and the finances of the organization.

Observe the proceedings live and see the candidates for Kiwanis International vice president lay out their vision for the future of the organization. Watch as those who want to be part of the Kiwanis International Board of Trustees outline their experiences and expertise. Get the results of the vote in real time. Then come back at 8 p.m. ET and “Celebrate Great.” We’ll recognize the winners of the 2020 Signature Project Contest and announce the 2018-19 Distinguished Districts. You’re invited to be a part of the celebration of the great work Kiwanis clubs do all around the world.

The Kiwanis International Council consists of the Board of Trustees, past Kiwanis International presidents, current district governors, the Kiwanis International-European Federation president and Kiwanis Asia-Pacific chair.

The Kiwanis International Board last convened council to conduct the annual business in 1944 and 1945 during World War II. Other councils have been convened throughout the years to confer with and advise the board.
