Thanks to the program, Kiwanis clubs are growing. Members from two clubs share their experiences.

Kiwanis Club of Kewanee, Illinois, U.S.
We first heard about the Two For Two program in 2021, and we brought in 22 new members in 2022. We have found that the new members have brought much-needed help and other resources to our club. We all have different spheres of influence, and new members only aid in broadening the mission of Kiwanis here in Kewanee.
Our greatest success with Two for Two has been with our evening club. Younger members are able to attend meetings and get involved in community projects. They have expanded their meeting schedule to two meetings per month. One meeting focuses on service opportunities while the other meeting is more traditional with a program and the like.

Kiwanis Club of Hoover-Metro, Alabama, U.S.
We first learned the details about Two For Two when then-incoming Kiwanis International President Bert West conducted a workshop on the program at the Alabama District Convention in August 2022.
We were impressed with the simplicity of the program and presented it at a Hoover-Metro club meeting in early October. A sign-up sheet was provided for two club members to commit to each month of the Kiwanis year. The impact was almost instantaneous.
As a result of this program, three new members joined the club during the first quarter of the new Kiwanis year (October-December), and one more joined during the second quarter. A key element that helped drive the success of the program was frequent email updates reminding members of their assigned months and providing recognition for members whose invitations had resulted in a new member.
The program has been successful due to its simple yet logical premise and how it lends itself so well to ongoing promotion.
