청소년 보호 주간
키와니스가 돕는 아이들의 안전보다 더 중요한 것은 없습니다. 그렇기 때문에 키와니스 인터내셔널은 매년 일주일을 ‘청소년 보호 주간’으로 지정하고 있습니다. 2026년 청소년 보호 주간은 10월 5일부터 9일까지입니다. 이 기간 동안 키와니스 클럽은 중요한 청소년 보호 교육을 실시하고, 클럽의 규정 준수 여부를 점검할 기회를 가져야 합니다.
키와니스 클럽은 매년 회원들에게 다음과 같은 교육을 실시해야 합니다. 키와니스 청소년 보호 정책 및 절차에 대한 교육. 청소년 보호 주간에 제공되는 자료를 통해 클럽이 이 필수 요건을 쉽게 충족할 수 있습니다. 키와니스 클럽은 클럽의 모든 회원을 대상으로 대면 또는 가상 교육을 실시할 수 있습니다:

Educate members
주중 시간을 내어 키와니스 클럽 회의에서 회원들에게 청소년 보호에 대한 교육을 실시하세요. 클럽 회원들은 온라인 자료를 활용하여 스스로 교육을 이수할 수도 있습니다.
클럽이 2025-26년도 키와니스 연도 훈련을 완료한 후, 클럽 총무는 다음과 같이 보고 대시보드.

K-12th grade Service Leadership Programs district administrators, advisors and chaperones are encouraged to attend this training webinar. We will review Kiwanis youth protection policies and how to apply them to your local SLP clubs.

Understanding Kiwanis Youth Protection policies and training club members.
Each new Kiwanis program year requires local clubs to review youth protection policies and procedures. Use this time to educate your Kiwanis club members and club-sponsored advisors on how to protect our SLP members. Led by Melissa McMann, SLP Education and Training team.
Wednesday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET: Youth protection policies and safety at Key Leader events
A session for Key Leader district chairs, coordinators and chaperones.
Key Leader events — whether weekend programs held at outdoor overnight camps or one-day programs hosted at schools or community centers — carry elevated risks related to participant safety, peer‑to‑peer boundary concerns and potential behavioral incidents. District leaders and chaperones will have the opportunity to share experiences, ask questions and collaborate on best practices for managing safety at both overnight and daylong Key Leader events.
