Service Projects
Around the world, Kiwanis clubs complete millions of hours of community service each year — improving the lives of children in their communities and beyond. Kiwanis service projects include reading and literacy programs for elementary schools, food drives and meal-packing events for local food banks, holiday gift drives, park cleanups and community beautification, scholarship programs for graduating high school students, after-school tutoring and mentoring, and partnerships with schools on classroom supplies.
Kiwanis clubs also conduct fundraisers — from pancake breakfasts to walk/run races and more — that help the clubs and local partner organizations improve kids’ lives.
Kiwanis International supports your club’s projects in several ways. For example, the Kiwanis Children’s Fund offers grants to support clubs’ service. In addition, members have access to planning templates, risk-management tools and partner discounts on supplies.
Whether your club is looking for its next signature project or expanding the impact of a current service project, members can log in for access to our library of ideas, planning templates and grant resources.
