Cathy Tutty
Cathy Tutty of Butte, Montana, U.S., was elected to a three-year term as trustee of Kiwanis International during the 2023 Kiwanis International Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.
Tutty has been a member of Kiwanis for 10 years. She served as president of the Kiwanis Club of Silver Bow, Butte, Montana, in 2014-15. She is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Big Sky RX, Montana. At the district level, Tutty has served as lieutenant governor and governor, as well as leadership development coordinator, member of the Bylaws Committee and CKI consultant. Her service to Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs has also included service as a Key Club advisor.
A donor to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, she is a Walter Zeller Diamond Fellow.
In 2022, Tutty served as chair of the Kiwanis International Credentials Committee. As a Kiwanis International board member, Tutty will continue to “listen for gold” and use her experience to facilitate both leadership and collaboration. She hopes to be “a voice of reason and compassion” and to bring about “a chance to truly play our way to being the difference for our planet.”
Tutty holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Saint Mary College and a law degree from Creighton University. She is a professional family attorney, writer, consultant and speaker/facilitator — as well as a lay minister and lector, and a certified laughter yoga teacher, high school sports announcer, pole vault official, education facilitator, and election judge and observer. Her family includes nine siblings and 16 nieces and nephews.
