Legacy of Play Contest
In partnership with Landscape Structures, Kiwanis International presents the Legacy of Play Contest — launching February 1, 2026. The contest will award one Kiwanis club US$25,000 in playground equipment to be used toward a Landscape Structures playground project.
There’s more! Any club that enters the contest and continues its project plans with Landscape Structures will receive a complimentary Omni Spin® Spinner, which was designed with inclusion in mind.
Check out the official rules for the Legacy of Play Contest. In the meantime, if you want some inspiration, check out our Hall of Fame winners and start planning your contest entry!
An official partner of Kiwanis International for more than 10 years, Landscape Structures has been helping clubs bring play to communities around the world. Their safe, high-quality commercial playground equipment and planning consultation services reflect the high degree of integrity that Kiwanis clubs expect.
Additional funding options
The Kiwanis Children’s Fund provides grants for Kiwanis-led service projects that focus on the organization’s causes: health and nutrition, education and literacy, and youth leadership development. Clubs interested in applying for a grant for a playground project should review the program material carefully to learn about the Children’s Fund as a potential funding partner. Check out the Club Grant Program for eligibility requirements, important dates and additional resources.
Several other organizations offer grant funds for playground projects. Landscape Structures can help! The organization does not directly provide playground grants, but has curated online grant resources with national, state and regional organizations that offer funding for playground projects.
