Distinguished Club Criteria for Object 6
- Launch a traditional or social media campaign to promote Kiwanis service. Suggestion: Join your local community Facebook pages and groups to promote your Kiwanis projects, and ask them to join yours. A Facebook presence for your club is easy—ask your Key Club!
- Complete a project to benefit the children or families of heroes. Project idea: The Kiwanis Club of Weston (Connecticut) sponsored the Weston Reservoir Run in January to raise money for several projects. One of them was Purple Heart Homes. Purple Heart Homes builds, adapts and modifies homes for service-connected disabled veterans.
- Enroll a new member involved in media or government service.
