Here are five steps to start using our popular membership program.

How do you make membership growth manageable for your Kiwanis club — and an opportunity for teamwork? With our Two For Two program, many clubs have found the answer.

The concept is simple: Each month, two current members invite two potential members to join. Of course, you’ll need a little preparation before you start. But it’s easy with these five steps:

  1. Inspire commitment. Expanding your club roster is not a onetime campaign or event. It’s a continuous club operation — and every member plays a part! Whether you’re a club leader or simply want to start the discussion, inspire everyone in your club to make that commitment.
  2. Download the program guide. The Two For Two guide is filled with information and ideas: who to approach, how to approach them, ways to identify prospects and more. Cards help you follow through on contacts — and they also offer suggestions. Use the back cover to track your club’s progress.  Use a club meeting to plan. Identify two club members to reach out to two prospects for each of the next several months. Members who work in pairs can support each other and reach more people more rapidly. And remember: The Two For Two guide helps identify people and personalities your club may be missing.
